Pizza, scoops, and a whole lot of heart

Pizza, scoops, and a whole lot of heart

La Louise Pizzeria is the pizza chapter of a family food story rooted right here in Fairmount, Georgia. It started with ice cream, grew into something bigger, and has always been driven by one simple idea: feed people well and make them feel at home.

In 2018, Laura Haverkos moved from Nebraska to Georgia and missed farm life. Her husband Jim's answer: "I can't build you a dairy, but I can build you an ice cream shop." On opening day, the line stretched out the door.

Jim expands the shop, Jamie brings her latte art, Alex and Michael greet every guest, and Hannah adds cake decorating and cheesecake. Laura leads it all, fueled by a lifelong love of feeding people.

La Louise Pizzeria was the natural next chapter — pizzas, calzones, and wings made with the same care and hospitality that built The Southern Creamery Co. Same family, same heart, just fired up in a different way.
